The Museum of Pocket Art is a mobile, surreptitious exhibition strategy that initiates an immediate, intimate encounter with work that responds to the spatial parameters of its miniature gallery context. It is also a performative gesture of spontaneous dialogue within an existing, dominant paradigm of the socialization and reception of art. To be invited to view MoPA is to be momentarily removed from this paradigm and engaged by an independent psychological space shared only by the viewer and the exhibitor- the wallet-gallery, specifically designed for storing a series of two-channel displays.
